Diana McCafferty, PA-C

Diana McCafferty, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in orthopedic medicine. She graduated from California State University East Bay with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science, preclinical option, minor in biology, and a post-baccalaureate in biochemistry. During her undergraduate career, Diana was the founder of Chicanos in Health Education. She was involved in medical missions in Honduras and Nicaragua offering medical care to underserved communities. Prior to beginning her PA education, she worked at Carbon Health and as an emergency medical scribe at Alta Bates Sutter in Berkeley. During her training, she completed an orthopedic preceptorship with Dr. David Goltz, who was the chief of surgery in the 2018 Olympics. She began working at Tri-Valley Orthopedic Specialists, Inc in June of 2021 working with Dr. Alexandra Burgar and as of December 2021, with Dr. Steven Liu and Dr. Julie Long.

She is interested in continuing medical missions abroad, hiking with her three dogs, swimming with whale sharks, and all things fashion.
